Prozomix is pleased to announce that as part of a 17 strong academic / commercial EU consortium, it has been awarded a highly competitive research grant under the FP7-KBBE Programme. The €7.8 M "KYROBIO" Project (Grant No. 289646) aims to "discover, develop and demonstrate biocatalysts for use in the industrial synthesis of chiral chemicals"
Prozomix is pleased to announce that as part of a 14 strong academic / commercial EU consortium, it has been awarded a highly competitive research grant under the Horizon Europe Programme. The Project (Grant No. 101081957) has the aim of “Safely and sustainably utilising marine microbiomes”. The specific role of Prozomix is to use it’s advanced enzyme capabilities in the discovery, development and commercialisation of novel biocatalysts from UK biodiversity, specifically the Marine environment (following on from the Prozomix expedition in 2021). The work to be performed over a 4-year period and will allow Prozomix to expand its collection of Biocatalysis enzymes of which new members of this new panel will become commercially available, including as part of the Prozomix Biocatalysis Enzyme Toolkit.
