The impact will be greater than any other event we have witnessed to date for novel enzyme discovery against even most demanding applications, as it offers a near total in silico knowledge, enabling rapid and reliable solutions to be designed with absolute speed, accuracy and efficiency.

Prozomix is not an AI company, which is why we are delighted to offer the solutions detailed below in partnership with Ginkgo Bioworks, the global powerhouse of AI-driven biotechnology!

1. Screen already developed and off-the-shelf Ginkgo “Gen2” plates free-of-charge

(a) Existing Toolkit user of KREDs, IREDs, EREDs and / or transaminases

WHEN? – where you have screened Prozomix “Gen1” plates and wish to access additional enzyme diversity not represented in that traditional Prozomix Biocatalysis Toolkit Offering. OR – you wish to access AI-generated diversity that has either not yet been observed via global cumulative DNA sequencing efforts, or is simply designed to be new-to-nature! Where you are an existing commercial Toolkit user who wishes to share data for one or more of the above biocatalysts with Prozomix in order to train the language models being developed by Ginkgo, not only will you be offered “early access” to emerging “Gen2” screening plates, but Ginkgo will also offer a discount for bespoke “Gen2” enzymes specifically designed against your transformation(s) of interest!

 

(i) you request the Ginkgo AI-designed Gen2 screening plates of interest

(ii) existing plates will ship within 2 days from your request, in 1 mg / well 96-well format

(iii) 50-200 mg vials will also be provided free-of-charge to enable hit confirmation

(iv) all shipping free-of-charge!

(b) Not a Toolkit user / new Prozomix customers

WHEN? – where you have not screened Prozomix “Gen1” plates and wish to start screening Ginkgo Gen2 enzymes against your transformation(s) of interest!

 

(please NOTE – the provision of novel Gen2 enzymes will be situational depending on who you are and the specifics of your intended application, and also conditional on you agreeing to share the data generated with Prozomix in order to train the language models being developed by Ginkgo)

 

(i) you register as a new customer with Prozomix

(ii) you request the Ginkgo AI-designed Gen2 screening plates of interest

(iii) existing plates will ship within 2 days from your request, in 1 mg / well 96-well format

(iv) 50-200 mg vials will also be provided free-of-charge to enable hit confirmation

(v) all shipping free-of-charge!

 

2. Request bespoke “Gen2” plates to be developed

(a) Existing Toolkit user of KREDs, IREDs, EREDs and/or transaminases

WHEN? – where you have screened Prozomix “Gen1” plates and either got hits that were not good enough to continue process development with, or you have performed engineering / optimisation work yourself on Gen1 enzyme hits, but not achieved derivative biocatalysts good enough to continue process development with.

 

In the above situations a particular advantage of bespoke Gen2 enzymes from Ginkgo, is the design strategy used will take into account all the information from the Gen1 enzymes that worked to some extent, and also all the ones that didn’t work well, or did not work at all, as the ML models involved have been trained on data including ALL Prozomix Gen1 sequence space!

 

(i) you request Ginkgo AI-designed Gen2 screening plates of interest (optimally providing data regarding which Gen1 enzymes worked, and which did not – data can be in many forms)

(ii) the plate(s) will be designed by Ginkgo and produced by Prozomix and ship within 6 weeks from request, in 1 mg / well 96-well format

(iii) 50-200 mg vials will also be provided free-of-charge to enable you to perform immediate hit confirmation

(iv) all shipping free-of-charge!

 

(b) Not a Toolkit user / new Prozomix customers

WHEN? – where you have not screened Prozomix “Gen1” plates and wish to start screening bespoke Ginkgo Gen2 enzymes against your transformation(s) of interest!

 

(i) you register as a new customer with Prozomix

(ii) at this stage you could screen Prozomix Gen1 plates and then continue as in (a) above, OR, on immediate basis (b) provide details of the biotransformation of interest to Ginkgo, who will then use their AI-ML models to rapidly design a bespoke plate(s) of Gen2 biocatalysts

(iii) Gen2 plates will ship within 6 weeks from project initiation, in 1 mg / well 96-well format

(iv) 50-200 mg vials will also be provided free-of-charge to enable you to perform immediate hit confirmation

(v) all shipping free-of-charge!

 

3. Request bespoke “NextGen” plates to be developed directly with Ginkgo
